Actual Photos of Recent Inspections

Photo of torn flex hose   Photo of water heater with installation problems
Photo of attic with missing structural member

Top Left:  This home was scheduled to close the next day.  In addition to this flex hose being torn apart, the gas cooktop was leaking gas, the electronic oven was off 33 degrees in temp. control, the garbage disp. was leaking and the fireplace flue was separated from the top of the firebox.  Homeowner-to-be was an engineer wanting to inspect his own home.  Good thing his Realtor insisted we inspect his home prior to closing.  Bottom Left:  Same home, the attic was missing a required structural member (purlin).  Right:  The T&P valve manufacturer requires minimum 3/4 inch inside bore drains for safety requirements.  This flex pipe is designed for water heater connections ON TOP at the water supply.  It is not designed to withstand the pressures associated with an emergency, nor does it maintain the minimum 3/4 inch ID.
